The service
fixsubtitles provides free, browser-based tools for converting and editing subtitle files. All processing happens on your own device. We provide the tools; you provide the files and decide what to do with the results.
No warranty
The tools are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. While we test against a wide range of real-world files and aim never to corrupt your data silently, we can’t guarantee a specific result for every possible file. Keep a copy of your original before processing anything important.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the files you process and for having the right to use them. Don’t use the tools for any unlawful purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, fixsubtitles is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the tools, including loss of data. Because processing is local to your browser, your files are under your control at all times.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected here. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
